Okay now we're going to be moving into an area that is probably purposely the end of the hand to hand skills in this training module, and that is because everything has failed up 'til now. We were watching scene safety. We were being aware of our environment. We had pepper spray. It was either not on us at the time or it was taken away from us. Whatever the case is, these next two defensive moves, and I cannot make this clear enough to you, this is life and death situation. I am strongly urging you to never get to this point if at all possible. But it would be horrible for us not to give you at least a couple tools, that if for whatever reason everything else fails and you find yourself in this life or death, or possible rape situation, we would be remiss in not showing you two, at least, effective ways to get out of this safe and alive. This next scenario is that, he's going to push me down or he's gonna tackle me and move me to the ground. So as he comes in, he pushes me to the ground. Now you can see, he's in an extremely dominant position. He has me in what we call professionally a mount position. He may grab my hands and try to pin me down. At this point, though, if he's got his hands on my hands, and he's got me in the mount position and this is all that's going on, quite honestly we're quite safe. You know what's great about this, though? There's not a whole lot that my aggressor can do either, until they release a hand or both hands to move either to a choke or to some other type of aggression. As soon as he moves to this, I can take my hands and my arms. Lookit. I can either double trap here, if all you can do is swim under and trap one arm, I personally like to grab here in this situation so that I have either side, right? I mean, if I feel stronger rolling that way, I have both arms trapped. If I feel stronger rolling this way, I still have both arms trapped. But now watch this, watch my legs, this is kind of important. I bring my knee up, which kind of shifts his weight forward. I'm still pinching down with my elbows. Now lookit, I'm gonna bridge up and over, spread the arms out if he's trying to hit me. Up. Crack crack crack onto the genitals, push off on my aggressor and retreat. So let's just show you how we're gonna practice with a teammate. So Kiely gets me in the mounted position, goes for the choke. I take my hands, I criss-cross. Grab his wrists and trap them. I bring my elbows straight down and trap his elbows. I bring my legs up and trap his foot as I look to the right. You could do that to the left as well, but in this case I want you to see it, so I'm gonna go to the right. I trap the foot and now watch. I bridge over my shoulder letting his weight carry me as I pop out on top. I sit up. Bam bam bam. Three strikes to the groin. But now instead of retreating for this practice, look what we're gonna do. Switch. Now I'm mounted. I go for the choke. Kiely braces and breaks me down. Now he's gonna trap and roll. Bam bam bam. One little movement and he switches. Criss-cross. Break it down. Trap and roll. Bam bam bam. And that's how we're going to get really proficient with this self defense, life saving skill.
This scenario shows what to do when everything else has failed and you find yourself in a life and death, or rape situation, where the aggressor has pushed you down to the ground and is on top of you. This is a more advanced move that will take practice to get good at it. This technique does not require great strength, rather good technique. If the aggressor has his hands on your neck in a choke, you can trap his hands, bring your knee up, bridge up, pound fists into the genitals, and retreat.
