"Come with me! Don't scream! Don't scream! Don't fight!" So now in this situation what we have is the perpetrator actually grabbing the victim around the waist, trapping the arms, from the front. And then they lift them up so their feet are off the ground. This could be so that they could actually carry them to a different location. It could be that they want to pick them up to throw them to the ground. Regardless of why they're picking them off the ground, they have and therefore, because they've trapped our arms and our feet are off the ground, they think they've immobilized the victim's basic response to be able to neutralize a threat. But watch this. So the perpetrator grabs me around the waist, traps my arms, picks me up off the ground. Now watch this. Leg is extended. Knee strike to the groin. Now it makes space for us. It allows me, now, to either, lookit, my efficiency is to bring my arms up here for a follow up knee strike to the groin. Or I could come back with a palm strike to the soft tissue targets. The nose or the throat. If any of those strikes neutralize the threat, I'm taking the first one and I'm retreating. But here's three different consecutive strikes to get that threat neutralized. Okay so this could be a little bit tricky when you're setting up the practice, because obviously your training partner's got the mitts on, they're not going to be able to do the actual lift, but watch this. This is how we're gonna practice this. Obviously he's got the thai bag down here. We're going to simulate that he's lifted us. So our hands are down at this point. We rear back. We do a knee strike to the thai pad. They kind of come up a little bit so that I can grab the shoulders. Knee strike again to the groin. They rear back a little bit as he lifts the target mitt. Palm strike to the target mitt. Again, the practice here is my arms are trapped. Knee strike to the groin. Knee strike to the groin. Palm strike to the target mitt for the face.
In this situation the aggressor has grabbed you from the front and lifted your feet off the ground. Swing a leg back and deliver a forceful knee strike to the groin. The aggressor will most likely drop you down at this point. With your feet on the ground, grab the aggressors shoulders, pull down, and give another knee strike to the groin or a palm strike to the face and escape.
