To register a student for a class, you must create a username for that student. All ProTrainings students’ certifications are kept in a central registry so that students can contact ProTrainings customer support for copies of certificates and other general help. Additional benefits include online access for students to watch free training videos, download their student course manuals, and obtain digital/printable copies of their certificates. ProTrainings will also email the student instructions regarding their class as well as a reminder to contact you when it comes time for renewal. In addition, independent instructors will earn commission on purchases that their students make. If the student you are registering doesn’t have an email address or you’re unable to obtain it, simply type in test@procpr.org or anything@example.com. You can always edit student profiles after registering them by clicking the yellow pencil icon next to their name. Students can also register themselves for classes. Each time you create a class, you will be given a special class web URL which you can post on your website for students to sign up. They’ll enter all their own information so that you don’t have to collect emails or mailing addresses. You’ll receive an email with the student’s contact information, and the student will receive a confirmation email with the class details. If you’re charging for the class and haven’t received payment from the student yet, now would be a good time to contact them to coordinate that. Let’s say that you receive a list of students for a class from a client or your employer, but you’re not sure when the class will take place. In that instance, you can still register the students ahead of time without attaching them to a class. This you can do at a later time. Simply go to the “Students” tab and click “Add Student.” Enter in the information here and click the “Add Student” button. You can also register them for a class from this page if you wish. You can run reports to see students who are coming due for renewal soon, access copies of certificates, and more from the Student Filter. You can also view a complete roster of all students that you’ve registered by clicking “View Full Roster.” You can disassociate a user from your account if you believe that the student will never take a class from you again, such as if you are teaching an internal class for your company and the student leaves the company.
This segment will cover how to add a student to an existing class. You can do this by clicking on the class name. If a student has already been registered, simply search for them by entering first and last name, username, email, or phone number. Note: these will only be students that you have previously entered into the database. In order to register a new student, you can fill in the appropriate fields. This information entered will be used upon completion of the course. The most important information to have is the first and last name the student will need on their certification card.

Creating a username for the student - a suggestion is to use the students first and last name, followed by the instructor’s four digit registry number. Passwords can be duplicated for multiple students. The student can change their password once they are logged in. If the student is already registered, click on the Add Student to Class link. To complete this process, click on the instructor Dashboard tab. You can verify this by checking the student roster for the student’s name.
Benefits: student shipping address can be mailed directly to the student. In order to utilize this feature, you can check the shipping box, and enter the students mailing address. In order to ensure this will be the delivery address for the certification, this can be updated at any point before the instructor checks the student off as complete. If you are unaware of the student’s mailing address, the certificate will automatically be mailed to the instructor.
