Description

Mindfulness, climate change, a connectedness to nature, and human health are intricately related. Mindful awareness of the effects of climate change on nature and health will help us develop new social practices and encourage a broader cultural shift toward a healthier planet. Numerous independent researchers and scientists all across the world know that Earth is warming and human activity is the primary cause. How much climate change we will experience in the future is dependent on the choices we all make as mindful global citizens to reduce our global emissions and reconsider our patterns of consumption.

Objectives

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to do the following:

  • Describe mindful awareness of the effects of climate change on nature.
  • Describe how being mindful in nature can help individuals create a healthier world.
  • Identify factors that affect the climate, including the greenhouse effect.
  • Explain how climate change can impact human health.
  • Identify mindful actions to reduce the impact of human caused climate change.

Criteria for successful completion

Complete the course post exam (CE Test) with a score of 80% or greater. Complete all fields of the course evaluation form. Certificate of Completion is provided once the course post exam is passed per criteria above.
