  • Teachers in South Carolina are required to have an Adult, Child, and Infant Pediatric CPR, AED and First Aid certification.
  • The South Carolina Department of Education does not require Teachers to maintain CPR certification for licensure.
  • CPR certification requirements are decided by the individual School Districts upon employment.
  • Most employers will require a Lay Rescuer CPR, AED, and First Aid certification for all ages.
