Say Hello to the New ProTrainings

ProTrainings

The New ProTrainings Logo

When we started in 2003 as ProCPR.org, we began a mission to make life-saving CPR & First Aid training widely accessible using relatively new technology– the internet!

Finding Nemo had just been released and Michael Jordan was ending his NBA career with the Washington Wizards. It might not seem so long ago, but think – no Facebook, no YouTube, and even our cell phones weren’t yet “smart.”

Regardless, professionals like you were eager to harness the power of the internet and simplify access to quality training that is also convenient.

Now, 16 years and over one million students later, we offer high-quality video training with a library of courses including CPR & First Aid, ACLS, PALS, Bloodborne Pathogens, HIPAA, Pet First Aid, and many more.

Which started to look like this:

So, today we’re excited to have a fresh new logo that encompasses all facets of our brand:

You might notice that ProPetHero hasn’t changed yet. This is because, as a program for pets, we have a brand identity that is very pet specific. The paw print helps to differentiate the course in all of the right ways. This could change in the future, but for the time being, you’ll see the same paw print that you know already.

All-New CPR Course Names

If you have been with ProTrainings for a while, you will recognize that the name “ProCPR” has historically been used as the name of our company, the name of a suite of CPR courses, and the name of a specific BLS course.

To simplify our naming scheme, each of our seven CPR/First Aid courses will now be named by content:

Previous NameNew Name
ProCPRHealthcare Provider (BLS) Adult, Child and Infant CPR/AED
ProFirstAid AdvancedHealthcare Provider (BLS) Adult, Child and Infant CPR/AED & First Aid
ProFirstAidAdult, Child and Infant, Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid
Community CPRAdult, Child and Infant CPR/AED
ProFirstAid BasicAdult CPR/AED & First Aid
ProCPR BasicAdult CPR/AED
ProFirstAid OnlyFirst Aid Only

This naming structure is similar to our other course suites — such as ProBloodborne, ProErgonomics, and ProHIPAA— which each offer several specialized course options.

Therefore, a card with the “ProCPR By ProTrainings” logo will now indicate that a student has been certified in one of the seven ProCPR courses listed above. The specific course, named by content, will be listed directly underneath, such as:

Don’t Worry, Your Card Is Still Valid

If you currently have a valid certification card with our old logo or course name, don’t fret! As long as your card has not expired, it remains valid.

And while we do not anticipate any issues, we’ve proactively reached out to state boards and organizations nationwide to share this news to ensure a seamless transition for all.

If you present your certification card to a person who does not recognize our new ProTrainings logo or course names and has concerns about its validity, please direct them to more information at www.protrainings.com/logo. This page provides a way to validate your certificate in our system

Thank you for choosing ProTrainings!
